Lara is a graduate of UC Berkeley, and has attended universities in both Paris and London where she lived from 1989 – 1995. After returning to America, she began a 7 year career in marketing for the financial services industry and worked as a consultant to most of the major banks in the region.
In 2001 her life took an unexpected turn and she began classes at the Landscape Horticulture department at Merritt College in Oakland. Lara was inspired and decided to open her own landscaping firm in order to pursue her love of nature, plants and artistic expression.
